			<description><![CDATA[Please know that the dwindling number of the lovers of hindustani classical music will pray for your health and happiness for the wondrous work you have done here.I beg to add that ALL of the 78 rpm and long playing records of Ustad Faiyaz Khan was recorded after 1945..when tuberculosis had eaten his lungs away.During the heavy and high-octave taans he used to cough blood..but continued singing nevertheless.th e early 1900s,when he was in his prime,sadly,was an era devoid of recording devices in colonial India.It would be wrong to assume his voice "harsh and nasal",for it was not always so.And do try to imagine what this man was capable of if these songs issued from his TB-ridden lungs.]]></description>
