This recording was presented to me in Varanasi by my friend and guru bhai late Gopal Shankar Misra, son of Misraji.

Vilayat Khan & Imrat Khan (sitar / surbahar duet)

A mythic duet of Vilayat Khan on sitar  & Imrat Khan on surbahar performing an alap and a vilambit teental in rag Miya Ki Malhar (22:04).

That LP recording is dated 1962.
