Y'a des jours - bénis des Dieux - où on fait le bon choix: C'est comme ça que ce mardi matin, je décidai soudainement d'aller écouter David Friedman et Peter Weniger au lieu d'appeler un toubib pour une sale bronchite qui, de toute façon, finira bien par quitter mes poumons pour une autre maison ou par me tuer.

Ils commencent par Emily (Johnny Mandel) (10'13) puis terminent par une impro (5'49). Scotché, le Mout. Tout ce que j'aime. Un son de rêve, inversement proportionnel à la qualité de l'enregistrement réalisé avec  mon vieil iPhone 3GS.

Ya tout ce que je recherche dans ce qu'ils font. Une énorme oreille, Ecoute, attention, intention, concentration à l'orientale (c.a.d. un état de de détente), un respect, un sens de l'esthètique, de l'anti déballage de représentant de commerce : Un élément choisi est regardé, choyé, contemplé, répété, pressé comme une orange juteuse - pour faire court : ils lui font l'amour jusqu'à ce qu'un nouvel élément arrive dans un fondu enchaîné. Belle vision du développement, qu'ils ont ! Idéal. Noble. Ça fait des gzzzzzzgggggjjj partout. La vie est Belle!

En plus, David et Peter sont aussi humbles et adorables qu'ils jouent bien ! Profond respect à ces 2 OVNI qui ont éclairé ma journée, ma semaine et plus puisqu'affinités... 

There are days - blessed by the Gods - where one makes the right choice:  That's how, this tuesday morning, I decided in a jiffy, to go and listen to David Friedman and Peter Veniger instead of calling a probably hopless doctor for a dirty bronchitis which will ultimately leave my lungs for another abode or kill me.
 They first play Emily (Johnny Mandel) (10'13) and go on with an improvisation (5'49). Spellbound, the Mout. All I love. A dream sound, inversely proportional to the quality of the recording done with my old iPhone 3GS.

There's just everything I look for in what they play. A huge Ear, listening, attention, intention, concentration - in the oriental sense of the term (i.e. relaxed state of mind), respect, esthetical sense, anti third rater salesman. I mean to say that one element is taken, shown, looked at, looked after, cared, nurtured, contemplated, repeated, pressed like a juicy orange - in short: they make love with it until a soft cross dissolve brings another element. High bred, Ideal, Noble. Beautiful vision of development, they have. One sign never lies: it makes lots of gzzzzzzgggggjjjj all over me. Feels like screamin' "Life is beautiful"

Moreover, David and Peter are as humble and lovely persons as they are great  musicians ! Respect for these two UFO who lit my day, my week and much more because affinities...
