Had been the music director of Uday Shankar, the Dean of the Faculty of Performing Arts of Banaras Hindu University ... and my teacher during M.Mus. in 1977-78. He expired in Banaras in 1979. Although Vichitra Veena was his main instrument, he could play practically every other instrument with a rare aesthetical sense.
